Margret Newton Visit and The Significance of Business Cards

I did not realize how much benefit a simple business card can bring to someone. I feel that having a business card on hand can do a lot for your business. A business card should be someone’s first option into marketing there business.  Just this past week, we had a guest speaker from a business owner. She spoke about her photography studio. She pitched her journey of how she has gotten to where she is now in terms of her business. She also spoke highly of her qualities and the services she offers her clients. She also brought in some proofs and albums from her work and it was professionally done and looked very presentable.  Just off that, I was very impressed with the way she presented her information. Usually when that happens, I ask for a business card, and then she passed it out to me and the class. Now, that goes to show you that just giving out a few business cards can help her gain many clients. I now know my resources when I want some professionally done photos, also I will know that I can refer to Margret to someone when I know they want wedding photos done. Business card can enhance many opportunities for us. Just to mention, my uncle told me years ago to just create personal business card with your name, email, and number, just to give to people as a networking strategy. You never know who can help you when it’s needed.
